Aks Ambulance Service's transport unit provides scheduled ambulance transport from hospital to home or from home to hospital upon request for bedridden patients. Home-to-home transfers, intercity patient transfers, and home-to-nursing home patient transfers are not offered. This service aims to facilitate travel to and from hospital appointments for individuals with mobility impairments or those who are completely bedridden, and to ensure the safe transport of individuals discharged from the hospital back to their homes.
Application Requirements and Necessary Documents
Epicrisis reports showing the illnesses of the patient who wishes to benefit from the service
Photocopy of identity card
Doctor's report stating that it is appropriate for the patient to be transported by ambulance
This program is available to individuals residing within the borders of Izmir province who have mobility impairments or are completely bedridden.
