The Equal Izmir Volunteer Program is implemented by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which holds the title of Women-Friendly City, to ensure the active participation of citizens living in Izmir in equality initiatives and to strengthen active citizenship and a culture of volunteerism. Through this program, the aim is to raise awareness in the fields of equality and inclusion, particularly gender equality, to encourage citizen participation in local initiatives, and to strengthen social solidarity. Work is carried out with volunteers for an equal, fair, and inclusive Izmir.
