Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which holds the title of "Women-Friendly City," organizes Gulf Tours for women living in disadvantaged areas of the city to get to know Izmir better and to create an environment of solidarity among different socio-cultural groups. Through these tours, women have the opportunity to discover the city's history and natural beauty while also meeting fellow citizens with diverse life experiences. The project aims to encourage women's more active participation in urban life and strengthen their sense of belonging to the city's identity.
