The Izmir95 Project, implemented by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which holds the title of "Women-Friendly City," was created to support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged 0-3, starting from the pregnancy period, and to provide guidance to parents. Within the scope of the program, home visits, parent guidance, workshops, and seminars are conducted; children's development is closely monitored, and a strong communication bond is established with parents. Named Izmir95 because of the World Health Organization's accepted average height of a healthy 3-year-old child (95 centimeters), the project aims to make parents feel secure. Babies who have completed 12 months of age receive an "Izmir95 Participation Certificate," their first diploma in life.
