Izmir Metropolitan Municipality organizes public ice skating sessions at the Aşık Veysel Recreation Area Ice Sports Hall to popularize ice sports throughout the city and introduce this sport to citizens of all ages. These events, which allow our citizens to experience ice skating, provide participants with a safe environment and an enjoyable time while exercising. The sessions are conducted under the supervision of expert instructors, and necessary equipment (skates, etc.) is provided by the facility. The service fees for public sessions are 100 TL for students and 150 TL for adults.

Application Requirements

  • Must reside in Izmir
  • Must not have any health problems that would prevent participation in sports

All citizens aged 5 and over can benefit from this service.

Note:Children under 18 must come with their guardian.

  1. Registration: Necessary forms are filled out upon presentation of identification at the facility entrance.
  2. Payment: Entrance fee is paid in cash at the cashier or with İzmirim Card / Credit Card at the turnstiles.
  3. Preparation: After payment, skates with the appropriate number are received from the skating room.
  4. Activity: The ice rink is used under the supervision of the coaches.
